Last Sunday 27th September 2015, the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church according to its cannons, blessed the Holy Meron and distributed to all its Dioceses around the world. The Holy Meron is blessed every seven years and it has been the sole link which binds the Armenian Baptised Christian Nation together since 301 AD.
HG Bishop Hovakim attended the ceremonies in Mother See Etchmiatzin last week and brought with him the newly blessed Meron to our UK Diocese.
HG has requested from all serving churches in United Kingdom to offer service of the blessing of the water where the new Meron will be added and blessed and distributed to the faithful.
The St Yeghiche Parish Council together with Fr Movses invites all its members and Faithful to attend Divine Liturgy this Sunday and at the end of service collect and carry home the blessed water.
